I've been teaching preschool for 19 years, served as preschool director for 9 years, and worked in early childhood education for 4 years prior to that. 

 

Preschool is the *joy* of my life.  I've learned a lot over the years and I continue to stay current with my trainings, etc.  I have my CDA, and I'm at level 8.5 in the Oregon Registry.  I was a mentor in early childhood for 8 years with Portland State University, and I have been trained to teach a class in early brain development. 

 

I have two sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and two of the greatest granddaughters.  In my spare time I love to scrapbook and spend time with my two granddaughters.

 

 

My name is Nichole Rotter.  I am 28 years old. I am married and have 2 daughters ages 6 & 8.  Some of my hobbies include scrapbooking, 4-wheeling, fishing and spending time with my husband and our two little mess makers.  I've been working  in a preschool setting since 2002.  It has been such an amazing and enjoyable experience for me.  I get the opportunity to meet all of these wonderful children and their families, teach them and watch them blossom, all while playing!  I love that we do a lot of hands-on learning, we are always making a mess!  I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am continuing to work towards my CDA .  I am now on step 5 in the Oregon registry.  I attend as many trainings as I can to stay current in Early Childhood Education.  I am looking forward to this new school year!

 

I was blessed this last year to work with two incredible teachers, (Cindy and Nichole), and a great group of kids.  I look forward to this coming year, working with Nichole as an aide and getting to know your kids.  The things I love most about preschoolers are:  Their imagination, excitement, curiosity and the wonderful things they say.  I feel they clearly remind us how to laugh, and appreciate and enjoy life.  I strongly feel they teach us just as much, if not more at times, than we teach them.

 

 

Hi, my name is Jennifer Griffith.  I am the Tot Time Facilitator here at Lil' Learners.  I am married with two wonderful girls.  Some things I enjoy doing are reading, going for walks, playing games and just spending time with my family and friends.  I have been around kids all my life.  As a teenager I had babysitting jobs, and helped out with my nieces and nephews.  I also volunteered at McBride when my oldest was there.  I look forward to meeting you and enjoying our time as we have lots of fun in Tot Time.
